The Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) has a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) opening for a Call Representative in our Burlington, Ontario offices. This position will povide excellent service to those calling, emailing, or online messaging with the Christian Reformed Church offices; help church staff and volunteers find resources for local ministry needs; and process orders and update subscription records.



  1. Respond to customer inquiries , problems, and complaints
  2. Correctly direct callers to a resource, answer, or ministry staff person within one call, chat, or email
  3. Accurately process customer orders and returns
  4. Responsible for Reformed Worship, Today, and Banner subscription processing
  5. Evaluate customer needs and interests, and recommend products and services accordingly
  6. Assist Marketing/Communications with market research surveys as appropriate
  7. Perform other tasks assigned by the Connections Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities



  1. Ability to support the mission, vision, and values of the CRCNA
  2. Possess excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
  3. Displays empathy for callers
  4. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and external contacts.
  5. Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment by organizing workflow, setting priorities, and effectively managing one’s own time
  6. Ability to quickly and accurately evaluate and solve problems
  7. Proven ability to  understand and use multiple computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google, helpdesk software)
  8. Demonstrated accuracy and proficiency in data entry
  9. Ability to make independent decisions regarding discounts and special offers
  10. Knowledge of and/or experience in the Christian Reformed Church is an asset

Additional Information

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required
  2. Minimum of two years experience in customer service
