  • Overview

    The Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) has a part-time (22.5 hrs/wk) opening for a Receptionist. This position provides welcoming, efficient and courteous reception of visitors and callers to the Grand Rapids, Michigan office, and provide support services to staff. Hours are Monday - Friday, 12:30 - 5:00 p.m.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following

    1. Answer multi-line phone
    2. Greet and assist building visitors, including check-in process
    3. Maintain a welcoming and hospitable area for guests
    4. Update building phone lists, front desk policies, procedures, and reports
    5. Provide office services to building employees (e.g. equipment check-out, supplies, mail, etc.)
    6. Regularly assist with special projects as assigned by the Connections Manager

    Qualifications

    1. Desire to provide high-quality service to callers, visitors, and staff
    2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    3. Ability to interact with a wide variety of guests in a professional manner
    4. Proven attention to detail and procedures
    5. Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment
    6. Highly dependable and punctual
    7. Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (eg MS Office, Google Docs, etc.)
    8. Able to support the mission, vision and values of the CRCNA

    Additional Information

    1. High School diploma or equivalent required
    2. Some office or reception experience preferred
